When you hear "Bitcoin", what do you think of?

Some people think of it as means for making money. Others see it as a sure way to lose money. Both miss the key point: Bitcoin is a tool allowing us freedom, independence and self-empowerment. In this talk we’ll start from the basics and take it from there to the possible future of each of us.

• Is Bitcoin for real, or is it just a fad?
• What does history teach us about the way people consider money (and the way money treats us)?
• What will happen if countries ban Bitcoin?
• What is the connection between Bitcoin and freedom of speech?
• What are the opportunities the cryptographic world offers to each and every one of us, in our journey to a better future?
