What we’re about
Welcome to the Bitcoin Only Meetup, aka Sactown Bitcoiners. This group is for Bitcoiners, and our plebs are from all over the Greater Sacramento region.
We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at Arden-Dimick Library and offer a group discussion and typically a member-led presentation. We also meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month for a social gathering, usually at a brewery or restaurant.
The purpose of this group is to talk about all things Bitcoin. We welcome everyone - Bitcoin curious, newbs, plebs, and maxis. But the conversation is Bitcoin only - no shitcoins. We will talk about money, hope and our future on a Bitcoin standard.

The Sactown Bitcoiners are hosting a book club online! The seventh book we are reading is Gradually, Then Suddenly by Parker Lewis. We will continue discussing it on Thursday, April 3rd, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
We will cover Part 1: The Fundamentals which is Chapters 1 - 5.
The book club meets on the first and third Thursdays (NOT the fifth).
The first meetings were a good forum to discuss the book and a great place to talk about Bitcoin generally.
