This course is necessary for everyone who wants access to the table saw at Bitraf - beginner and experienced users - to establish working practices for the safety of you, others at Bitraf, and the machine.

Before the workshop, it is important to understand the following:

  • This course is for paying Bitraf members only. If you are not a paying member, sign up for membership at https://bitraf.no/# before the course.
  • The course takes about 4 hours.
  • This course is in English.
  • We'll meet each other at the table in the kitchen 10 minutes before the start.
  • You are responsible for yourself, Bitraf has no liability if you get injured.

Please make sure you have:

  • Lung protection (dust masks are also sold through Bitmart)
  • Eye protection
  • Hearing protection
  • Safety boots

Upon completion of course you will have table saw access via the p2k16 ‘TOOLS’ system. This enables use of the machine to be logged.

Important meetup notices:

  • You do not need to pay anything to [Meetup.com](http://meetup.com/) to attend a Bitraf event! They're just trying to scam you, reducing the value of their platform.
  • There is a chance that people cancel (happens a lot), so make sure you reserve the time in your calendar when you're on the waitlist and keep an eye out for any changes.
  • You are not allowed to reserve a spot for somebody else.
