Workshop Make a stool

In this workshop you will be making a stool out of pine wood. The design is based on the design of Keiji Ashizawa's design from the Ishinomaki Laboratory, but you can deviate from the existing design by making it smaller or larger. During this course you'll learn to work with the miter saw and drill. You don't need any prior experience in the wood workshop to attend this workshop. At the end of the workshop you take home your selfmade stool!

Before the workshop, it is important to understand the following:

• This course is for paying Bitraf members only. If you are not a paying member, sign up for membership at https://bitraf.no/# before the course.
• We ask for the costs of the materials that you'll use: 175 NOK.
• The course takes about 6 hours, so bring lunch and snacks!
• This course is in English.
• It is possible to work on one stool with two people (only one person signs up on meetup, but let me know who is joining).
• We'll meet each other at the table in the kitchen 10 minutes before the start.
• You are responsible for yourself, Bitraf has no liability if you get injured.

Please make sure you have:

• Lung protection (dust masks are also sold through Bitmart)
• Eye protection
• Hearing protection
• Safety boots

At the end of the workshop you'll go home with a stool and new skills. It can happen that you are not finished at the end of the workshop, in which case you can come back another time to finish your project!
