We organize the BKK Comics Art Festival every year in October. Our goal is to create a thriving environment for comics In Thailand. Celebrating comics is not limited to our annual comics festival, it’s also about building a community of people who share the love of comics.
The books that are planned are loosely based on the monthly theme of our online magazine.
Sanpo Mono is an underrated gem of a Slice of Life that is incredibly quick to read and well worth the effort. Clocking in at only 64 pages, we follow a businessman as he walks around various city streets, observing his environments, enjoying the variety of people, and perusing the random shops he’s never seen before.
What to expect:
-We will start with general impressions
-We can discuss the themes, what messages the series is trying to convey
-On a deeper level as someone who wants to become a better storyteller, we can discuss what worked and what didn’t work, so as to see what we can take away from this series.
