This group brings Black individuals together for social gatherings, trying new experiences, attending events, or just getting out of the house. This is a space for people of the global majority to build community and connections with those who just get it. Joy is resistance!

Community Service at Small Things with Black Experiences
Small Things Warehouse, 401 Domino Lane, Philadelphia, PA, USWe are participating in a community service project. We are helping with the Saturday food packing at the Small Things Warehouse!
Looking for an opportunity to give back? What better way than to serve a meal to some of Philadelphia's citizens experiencing extreme poverty and food insecurity?
This service event is for individuals 13 years and older.
"We Believe that Small Things are How Change Happens"
"Our warehouse is located at 401 Domino Ln in Roxborough. Parking is available in the front of the building and volunteers can enter through the main gate, our door is on the left under the covered area.PLEASE USE THE VOLUNTEER ENTRANCE to enter the warehouse, do not go around the back to the loading dock area.
PLEASE WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES and clothing that you feel comfortable moving around in! Keep in mind that our warehouse is roughly the same temperature inside as the weather outside."SERIOUS COMMITMENTS ONLY! WE ONLY HAVE 10 SLOTS AND WE WANT TO FILL EVERY ONE, SO PLEASE DO NOT RSVP UNLESS YOU ARE FIRMLY COMMITTED TO ATTENDING.
Please note the time commitment is 9:00 to 10:30am. We will be on our feet the whole time.

Small Things
They rely on volunteers to help us sort donations and pack over 1,000 food boxes a week to meet the needs of our community partners. Every small act of service goes a long way to helping families in need!

Our partners understand the needs of their communities, and we supply them with the resources necessary to meet those needs."SERIOUS COMMITMENTS ONLY! Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops allowed), pants and socks, and a comfortable shirt. We are working indoors, but dress for the weather outside.Parking
There is free parking in front of the building. You can also park on the street.
