Take a Sunset Stroll! Join the crew for a stroll across one of Philly's iconic structures as we take in the gorgeous skyline at sunset.
"The Ben Franklin Bridge Pedestrian Walkway offers a 1.5 mile off-road route with picturesque and breathtaking views for walkers, runners, and cyclists to travel between Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Camden, New Jersey. The walkway provides amazing views and photo opportunities of Philadelphia and the Camden waterfront."

7:00 p.m. - Meet & Greet on the NW corner of 5th and Race
7:15 p.m. - WE ARE LEAVING! Not kidding, don't miss us!
The pedestrian walkway closes at 9:00 p.m., so we need to leave on time to get back before the gate gets locked.

We're going to take a walk on the pedestrian walkway, and the bridge walk is ~3 miles round-trip. PERFECT FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS SINCE IT'S ALL CONCRETE, BUT NOTE THERE IS A GRADUAL INCLINE AND DECLINE BOTH WAYS. You may not notice it while driving over the bridge, but you'll feel it as we walk.

THESE HIKES/STROLLS ARE WEEKLY, BUT ARE CONTINGENT UPON THE WEATHER & MAY BE CANCELED SHOULD THERE BE LIGHTNING.

A fun stroll
This is a great event to talk and get to know other members. All you need is water and comfy sneakers. There is no tree cover, obviously, but there's a beautiful breeze over the water and a lovely view of the river and skyline.
This is a popular area that is frequented by people jogging, riding bikes, and walking dogs; just stay to your right and be aware of your surroundings.

PARKING
Park where you can. You may find something on 5th Street, 6th Street, Race Street, or Callowhill Street, but GIVE YOURSELF AT LEAST 20 MINS TO FIND PARKING.

This might be a good time to bike, use SEPTA, or a rideshare option to get to the meetup location.
