Tent Camping Weekend!

Let's Go Camping! Games, S'mores and More with Black Experiences Philadelphia! This will be a fun, newbie-friendly campout in the Poconos.

Hey camp crew, we’ve selected a location for this year's trip. We are going to French Creek National Park, so we're only 90 minutes from home! Activities include Welcome BBQ, hiking, campside conversations, games, morning meditation & yoga, swimming, kayaking, arts & crafts, and biking. This campout is perfect for singles, couples, friend groups, first-time campers or experts, though it is ADULTS ONLY (21+).

Dates: September 17-20
Location: French Creek State Park (1.5 hours from Philly)

Each campsite has room for two 4-person tents (covers up to 4 adults).
This fee is not per person, but per campsite.

Your non-refundable payment is due July 15th. This guarantees we can all be in the same location/loop.
Please note that there are limited electric sites, so the sooner you book, the better!

Remember that you don't have to sleep in a typical tent on the ground. You can also camp in your SUV or truck (look up car camping), rent a trailer or a van, or sleep in a hammock tent. Bring an air mattress and a propane stove; make this as rough or as easy as you like!

**ANOTHER NOTE FOR TENT CAMPERS: You will supply your own tent, food, air mattress, sleeping bags, firewood, etc.
Transportation from Philadelphia is NOT included. Attendees must arrange their own transportation to and from the campgrounds.**
