About us
This is a group focused on Black people interested in owning a gun, getting a concealed carry license, learning safety, shooting techniques, and strategies of protecting yourself and your family. All skill levels are welcomed.
This is a coed group.
The group was started to meet and train Black women who wanted to be confident in protecting themselves and their families.
As of November 1, 2019, this is a coed group. The Black Gun Owner Meetup Group was started and is maintained by Cheryle Renee Moses of metro-Atlanta, Georgia.
The Black Gun Owners Group leadership is a member of the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA). The organization provide excellent information, advocacy and training for us all!
Become a volunteer! We need volunteers to help with monthly meetings, recommending members, guest speakers, topics of discussion, planning of in-person/virtual events and promotion of our events.
