If the the love of the outdoors is insatiable, the drive to explore is in your bones, the wellness/ fitness benefits are appreciated and the lure of networking/ friendship is enticing then I invite you to join us!!
Let's realize the vision of a world where everyone has access and opportunity and feels comfortable in the great outdoors!
Trekkers will hike 2 - 4 times a month varying trail lengths and types mainly in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Trail lengths and difficulty will gradually get longer and more challenging. Some backpacking, overnight trips and out of state exploring is foreseeable. All hikes are free unless otherwise specified.
This is a safe space to explore the physical surroundings as a group but we encourage networking, socializing, meditation and other expressions because we recognize that this is an individual/ personal journey as well.
All Trekkers are expected to respect themselves and others, follow safety protocols, take personal responsibility for themselves and their actions, stay with the group and the plan on a hike or excursion, make friends and have fun!

Lovin' Life In Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space
See description COS, Colorado Springs, CO, US*** Meet at 1:00pm in the Costco parking lot ( 5050 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80918) near the gas pumps and carpool 30 mins to Lost Canyon Ranch Open Space in Castle Rock!
This is an easy 3.2 mile loop hike with about 300 ft elevation gain that features really cool views and rocks
***Animals: Friendly and manageable dogs are welcomed on a leash.

Shaft House In Lost Creek Canyon
3275 W Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs, Co, US*** MEET in parking lot at Safeway at 3275 W. Colorado Ave to carpool to the trailhead near Tarryall.
*** This is a moderate 9+ mile out-and-back hike with ~1300ft of elevation gain. It features a creek, expansive views, beautiful rocks and an abandoned shaft house! Animal sightings possible.
