New Year Manitou Incline Challenge

***Happy New Year 2026

MEET in front of the bus stop at Hiawatha Gardens 9 am, catch the shuttle to the trailhead. Paid parking at Hiawatha Gardens in effect until 6pm. * May be FREE, check holiday schedule and fees!

Parking may be available, $15. Parking elsewhere is at your own risk.

Meet at the trailhead by 10 am. //// Hike begins promptly at 10 am //// Shuttle back to Hiawatha if shuttle available. Walk back alternative.

This challenging loop is about 4+ miles and has about 2000 ft elevation gain and features great views.

Animals: dogs NOT permitted on the incline per city signage.

WEATHER: expected weather will be posted day of hike.

Trail conditions: dirt/ rocky

NEEDED: water, hiking poles, light jacket, and snacks/drinks to share.
