What we’re about
You pour into everyone else. This is where you come to be poured into.
If you are a Black woman caring for an aging parent, an ill partner, a disabled child, or more than one loved one at a time, you know the truth that rarely gets said out loud: caregiving is love, but it can also be lonely, exhausting, and overwhelming.
You may be lying awake at night thinking about:
Your own health—the headaches, the racing heart, the tension you keep ignoring because there’s “no time” to see a doctor.
Juggling everything without enough help—being the daughter, sister, mother, nurse, driver, and bill payer all in the same day.
Feeling unseen by the systems around you—navigating a lack of culturally aligned resources while trying to keep your family afloat.
This group was created so you don’t have to carry it all in silence.
Why We’re Here
The Rest Circle is a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space for Black women caregivers to connect, rest, and restore—without guilt. We gather to:
Exhale the weight you’ve been carrying alone.
Learn rest rituals that work even when your time is stretched thin.
Build boundaries that protect your health without abandoning your role.
Connect with sisters who understand the cultural, emotional, and physical load you carry.
Share resources, ideas, and strategies for navigating the challenges of caregiving.
What to Expect
We host virtual and occasional in-person meetups that include:
The Soft Reset Sessions – gentle, guided gatherings to calm your nervous system and help you release stress.
Caregiver Connection Circles – open conversations with women who truly “get it.”
Rest Ritual Workshops – quick, realistic self-care practices you can start today.
Special Guest Sessions – boundary-setting experts, wellness coaches, and financial advisors for caregivers.
Our Promise
There is no pressure to perform here. No need to have your camera on, smile for the group, or explain why you’re tired. You can come as you are—pajamas, messy bun, or no words at all.
We believe:
You don’t have to break down to deserve softness.
You don’t have to earn rest.
Your health and peace matter as much as the people you care for.
💜 Come as you are. This is your room.
