What we're about

This club is especially for grounded, mature, African- American singles who enjoy good food, good conversation and good company. We are made up of a very diverse group- from business owners & seasoned professionals to recent grads. Events are hosted at locations all over the city where we dine, dance, discuss and more. We are always open to new ideas for events. Suggestions can be posted on the discussion board or emailed to the Organizers. Thank you, and get ready to meet other like-minded, professional Black singles who are enjoying life! Hope to see you at an event soon.

1/19 Viewing Party of horror film "HIS HOUSE" on Netflix! Watch on Zoom, FREE

WATCH THIS MOVIE WITH YOUR MEETUP FRIENDS ON ZOOM, so you will be ready for our Zoom discussion Jan. 23. Check out the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYY0QJhlXjc "HIS HOUSE" is a truly original new approach to the genre of horror/ghost stories. It has received very positive reviews. Bol and Rial, two refugees, fled war-torn South Sudan for the safety of England. They’ve seen and heard things unimaginable to most. And as they fled, they lost something irreplaceable: They lost their little girl. But now, they hope, London will give them a chance to start fresh. But England holds terrors of its own: unfamiliar customs. Unfriendly neighbors. An unforgiving bureaucracy that seems designed to bury refugees before they’re born again. London’s “welcome” is a chilly one, if it can be called a welcome at all. Even the house they’re given to live in—a spacious-but-broken down townhome filled with stained wallpaper, old pizza boxes and roaches—doesn’t seem to want them there, either. Click here for the Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/98496495839 Please log on to meet & greet at 4:45p before we start the movie at 5p.
