BE in Motion is a 30-minute virtual gathering where we move our bodies and build community through real conversation.
Join us on camera and stay in motion. You might walk indoors or outdoors, march in place, row, pedal, bike slowly, or do seated upper-body movements. These are just examples—any gentle, conversational movement is welcome.
This takes place daily (M-F). Join when you can!
What to expect:

• Intention-setting to begin
• A quick round of wins in the main room
• Breakouts to introduce yourself, share a triumph, a hump, and answer the question of the day
• Groups can keep the conversation going with more questions if time allows
• We’ll return to the main room to close with one last win and a shared intention

Guidelines for a great experience:

• Be on camera and fully present
• Keep your body in motion throughout
• Choose movement that allows for clear conversation
• Stay safe and aware of your surroundings, especially outdoors
• Come as you are. This is a space to connect, move, and feel good together.

Take a Stroll! ...with Black Philadelphia! Join the crew for a leisurely stroll across one of Philly's iconic structures, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge!

"The Ben Franklin Bridge Pedestrian Walkway offers a 1.5 mile off-road route with picturesque and breathtaking views for walkers, runners and cyclists to travel between Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Camden, New Jersey. The walkway provides amazing views and photo opportunities of Philadelphia and the Camden waterfront."

10:00 a.m. - WE ARE LEAVING! Not kidding...don't miss us!

We're going to take a walk on the pedestrian walkway, PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS SINCE IT'S ALL FLAT TERRAIN. There is a gradual incline, but it's not too bad.

THESE HIKES/STROLLS ARE MONTHLY, BUT IS CONTINGENT UPON THE WEATHER & MAY BE CANCELLED SHOULD THERE BE HEAVY RAIN AND WIND

A fun stroll
This is a great event to talk and get to know other members. All you need is water, sunscreen, and possibly a hat. There is no tree cover obviously but there's beautiful breeze over the water.

Bring your EpiPen or inhaler too (better safe than sorry). This is a popular area that is frequented by people jogging, riding bikes, and walking dogs; just be aware of your surroundings.

PARKING
Park where you can. You may find something on 6th Street or on Callowhill Street but GIVE YOURSELF AT LEAST 15 MINS TO FIND PARKING

This might be a good time to ride SEPTA or rideshare options.

Join Black Philadelphia for an evening of Archery 101 at the famous John Heinz National Wildlife Reserve! We can also go for a short hike afterward, if you'd like.

Event Details

"Stop by our FREE Pop-up Archery Range on Thursday, May 15th, from 4 pm - 6 pm! Take your first shot at archery and learn a quick overview of the skills required to hit a bullseye. With safety as our priority, our USA Archery certified instructors will help you with the basics of archery. Families are welcome with kids age 8 and up. No registration or equipment required!"

Learn the basics of archery in a safe environment for FREEEEEE.

I will be there around 5:00pm and will stay until they shut it down.
