National Lighthouse Day and Meeting This Thursday (8/7)

This Thursday is National Lighthouse Day, where we honor the beacon of light that for hundreds of years symbolized safety and security for ships and boats at sea. I believe Toastmasters is like a lighthouse, where we offer a steady beam of structure and encouragement in public speaking.

Our regular meeting is scheduled for this Thursday (8/7) at 7 PM in the Newman Library CommLab (Room 2034). Come and practice your public speaking skills with us.
