Black Tech Link (BTL) is a US based organization that focuses on the economic advancement of black communities through technical education, workforce solutions, and networking activities. Established in April 2020, BTL was created to help close the workforce gap of black populations that has resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world rapidly progresses towards digital communication, scientific research, and technological innovation, BTL is committed to equipping our audience with resources and launching platforms for our members to make meaningful connections to advance their careers and businesses in STEM.

It is with great pleasure and excitement that Black Tech Link, in partnership with The San Diego Black Golfer’s Association, invites you to save the date for our 3rd Annual Juneteenth Charity Golf Tournament​ scheduled for Monday, June 19, 2023 at the beautiful Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach, CA!

Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021 commemorating the emancipation of illegally enslaved African Americans. Also known as “Freedom Day”, The historical legacy of Juneteenth shows the value of never giving up hope and the resiliency of Black communities across America.

To celebrate Juneteenth, the focus of this year’s event is teaching the underserved communities of San Diego the technical skills of STEM and how to turn their ideas into profitable businesses. You can now support our cause by participating in our Charity Golf Tournament. Join us and be a part of our team of athletes, leaders, business professionals, and private citizens deeply committed to changing the lives of the women and children in our city.

Who Benefits:

The Tournament will benefit two stellar community organizations: Black Tech Link and Paving Great Futures. We celebrate our community and youth by providing vital education, mentoring and life skills, and college preparation right here in San Diego. 100% of all monies raised from this event are earmarked for these programs!!!

The event will host over 150 guests that will tee off overlooking the North Coastal region in San Diego County. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast, complimentary lunch, 18 hole golf course, reception and award recognition dinner, and after party networking. Women golfers are highly encouraged to play.
