Black Tech Link (BTL) is a US based organization that focuses on the economic advancement of black communities through technical education, workforce solutions, and networking activities. Established in April 2020, BTL was created to help close the workforce gap of black populations that has resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world rapidly progresses towards digital communication, scientific research, and technological innovation, BTL is committed to equipping our audience with resources and launching platforms for our members to make meaningful connections to advance their careers and businesses in STEM.

Utilizing Django to Build Healthcare Apps, Tools, & Visualizations

On Thursday May 26th at 5pm PT, Black Tech Link will host an in-depth workshop on how to build and deploy healthcare applications using Django. Attendees will learn how to create tools for the healthcare industry using pre-existing open source health data subsets. Our goal is to highlight the simplicity of web development using a Python framework and practical application to the healthcare sector. This workshop is for beginners to seasoned coders.
