Blasian Connections LA

This group (new!) was created for single black women and Asian men, 21 and over, to get together.

I've noticed that although we don't see this interracial combination quite too often, there are certainly many black women and Asian men interested in getting to know one another romantically for simple dating, possible long-term relationships or even good friendships.

Additionally, I had to create a group like this that catered to those in the LA area. Within 100 miles of LA, I saw no listing of a singles, dating group for black women and Asian men on Meetup.com, which was peculiar to see, and unfortuante.

All of the AM/BW groups were located on the East Coast of the US.

The requirements for joining this group are straightforward and simple:

Be 21 years of age and over

Fit the target demographic - Asian men (including Asian biracial and Indian men) and black women (including biracial)

Be single and honest, which means not married or currently in a serious, long-term relationship

If you are part of a couple, please be honest about this as you are welcome to join the group for support and just to meet other people for friendship.

Have a profile picture of yourself up as your main profile pic (recent photo)

Have your first name listed on your profile or a nickname of your first name (a sincere appellation is required)

Be ready to attend meetups that you RSVP for (no flakes)

Be ready to socialize, mingle, and have a great time meeting others! :)

The activities of this group will center around places to socialize and hang out such as restaurants, cafes, museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, music venues, hiking trails, parks, movie theaters, lounges to have board/table/card game nights, festivals, fairs, and so on.

Personal party gatherings or potlucks are even cool, too, if any members are eventually comfortable enough to offer up their places for such activities.

Suggested meetups are always welcome from group members.

Attendance integrity is very important in this group. If you RSVP for a meetup, then please make sure to show up to the event.

If you can't make it, then please change your RSVP in a timely manner.

Always keep your personal calenders adjusted for reminders to an event that you've RSVP'd to, whether you use your phone, a notepad, a day planner, or whatever. Two no-shows will result in a membership removal.

You will also be removed from the group if you are found to be in a committed relationship or within a marriage, BUT are under the pretense of being single here.

Blasian couples are welcome to join to support the mission and objective of the group and to make new friendships, as long as the group is respected as an official singles/dating group for Asian men and black women.

As a single person, if you eventually meet someone here or somewhere else and become seriously involved, but want to stay within the group to offer support and to keep or maintain platonic friendships with other members, then please make sure others BECOME and ARE aware of your relationship status -- do not hide it.

Honesty and having sincere, transparent intentions (whether you are looking for something long-term or to simply date) are also requirements here.
