Top Q&A Questions:

  • What is your experience between online, face-to-face, and hybrid events, Where do you find the growth?
It’s a tough question. I think in a world where many things are online, you can have a real advantage by not being only online. There are a lot of things that can be done so the education and experience is great for everybody
  • What are the best 3 things that you did at Le Wagon that you’re proud of?
What we’ve been very proud of are the new products we’ve been launching, the new bootcamps. For a long time, we’ve been a web developer boot camp, we started launching data and it’s been working great. Data analytics, data science, and data engineering are great life-changing directions for everybody right now. That was a lot of work to deliver in 2020 so definitely very proud of that.
  • How often do executives ask about ROI and how do you deal with it?
I think it’s easy to see the result of some of your work. If you put out events you can track pretty much everything, especially with Meetup Pro. Right? you can have a UTM, you know your RSVP’s. Who showed up in person? If you have a funnel you can really identify people when they become a lead on your website and when they convert. If you know how many people are attending your events, and how much cost is allocated you can really make some great calculations.
  • To get people to show up, do you charge a small fee?
All our events are free. That is also a way to remove blockers. We have some paid events but not very often. Our mission is to get people into tech. So we want to be open, we want to work with organizations, governments, and banks to get great finance options.
  • How do you decrease online no-shows?
I think it’s the same strategy. If you have a strong CRM strategy to make sure people come back, send reminders, etc. It’s all about your CRM strategy and about experimenting with both online and onsite to try to reach the same results.
