Meetup is orienting the platform around our members’ goals of finding communities. We’ve made the following updates:
- Enhanced member profiles: Updated designs that feature more information about each member. The refreshed profiles share more insights about what members are looking for on Meetup (practicing hobbies, seeking friendships, networking, etc.).
- Redesigned Attendee List: The new attendee list on events highlights commonalities among participants, fostering a sense of connection and community before the event starts

The Connection feature is available to all Meetup members and organizers on the app as well as on our websites.
Can connections see your private email or other contact info?
No personal information is shared when both members connect with each other, this feature allows you to stay in touch with someone you met at an event within the Meetup platform.
Is Connections available outside of the United States?
Yes! The Connections tool is available worldwide.
