- What do you mean when you say native experience in the app?
- Alex M: We mean that it’s actually built into the app itself rather than pushing you into the mobile web experience or pushing you into the member app. Usually, if you click on something and it takes you outside of the Meetup for Organizers app that’s an indication of our roadmap and what we’re going to be building next.
- Can you provide more details regarding repeating events?
- Alex M: There are some features in the event scheduler that unlock once you select the date and time for an individual event. Repeating events is one of them. So if you’re not seeing the repeating event option in the event scheduler in the Meetup for Organizers app, try selecting and date and time for your event, then scroll down to your optional features and you should see repeating options there. You can select weekly or monthly so you’ve got some options to play with there.
- Is the fundraising feature only on the Meetup for Organizers app or can I turn it on in the original desktop version?
- Colin: The best way to use it right now is through the original desktop version because it’s not natively built into the Meetup for Organizers app yet. However, you can access that group setting in the app. So when you go open your organizer app, tap group settings, and it will bring you to the mobile web view, scroll to the very bottom you’ll see the fundraising part of group settings, and you can edit your fundraising there. Again the native part of the app is not built into it quite yet but definitely utilize it through desktop, or mobile web.
