Overview
Let's get together and play some Blood on the Clocktower online!
Types of events
We will put on three types of events:
- Trouble Brewing: In our Trouble Brewing events we will be playing the simplest Blood on the Clocktower script, Trouble Brewing. These events will be the best entry for newcomers into the game.
- Base 3: In these events we will be playing the three core scripts (Trouble Brewing, Sects & Violets and Bad Moon Rising).
- Open: In these events we may play base 3 or custom scripts.
We recommend playing a handful of Trouble Brewing games before trying the other scripts.
First time playing?
Both new and experienced players are welcome to our group! If it is your first time playing, please join one of our Trouble Brewing sessions, as these will be the easiest games for you to play.
If you need to familiarise yourself with the rules, please watch this overview before your first game.
Set-up instructions for the app
Before your first game, please register for a (free) account on the online app.
Then to set up your camera and microphone:
- Join the game using the game link provided on the night
- Press [Q] on the keyboard to open the settings
- Go to the "Chat" tab
- If available, select your microphone and camera next to the relevant options
- If not available, press the purple "Setup Microphone and Camera" button and follow the instructions to set up your devices

Do you want to storytell?
If you have played a handful of games and feel confident enough to run one (storytelling) and would like a go, please drop me (Liam Greenhough) a message.
Some basic rules
- Bigotry is not tolerated
- Bring your best vibes - accuse kindly please!
- Do not lie about game mechanics
- If you think you have spotted a mistake, consult/message the storyteller first
- Do not discuss events happening in the night during the night
