We endeavor to continue our 50 years of service, providing accessible arts education for all, presenting high caliber art exhibitions, bridging the arts, artists and business to fuel the creative economy, activating communities with art and creative fun!
Blue Line Arts showcases the works of regional and national artists, and offers flexible exhibition space suitable for small musical performances, lectures, parties, and demonstrations.
As a non-profit organization, Blue Line Arts is entirely funded by memberships, grants, sponsorships, fund-raising events and other donations.

SCG Workshop l with Jori Jori : 3D Paper Dolls from Recycled Materials
Blue Line Arts, 405 Vernon St, Roseville, CA, USThis workshop will focus on building a 3-dimensional doll or figure from the provided tools, using the medium of paper/cardboard.
This workshop is an invitation for adult students to return to the childhood ideas of exploration, imagination and play, there is no wrong way to create in this space.
This workshop focuses on using what you have already to create. It highlights looking at “trash” through a creative lens, and uses basic and accessible tools. There is an additional focus on story telling.
Students will be asked to keep in mind three ideas while creating;
Curiosity; what happens if I do this? “What if?”
Play; what feels fun? Focus on exploration,
Story; Who is this figure? Where do they come from? What is their story?Workshop to conclude with participants sharing their completed works and they will be able to take them home.

SCG Workshop ll with Jori Jori : Mixed Media - Wearable Art Masks
Blue Line Arts, 405 Vernon St, Roseville, CA, USThis workshop will focus on building or embellishing on a paper mask to create a wearable art piece. Students will be provided with a full form paper mask base to work off of if they so choose.
Students are invited to bring in their own mixed media materials and tools if they are excited to work with them, but materials will be available to use. The focus of this workshop is on storytelling through wearable art.
The students will be asked to keep in mind three ideas while creating;
Movement; How do the elements on the mask move? How do you move when wearing it? How do the different elements of the mask come together to create one movement?
Function; Can I see? Is it heavy? Is it hot?
Story; Focus on exploration and character. Who is this figure? Where do they come from? What is their story? How does this effect the materials used?Workshop to conclude with participants sharing their completed works and they will be able to take them home.
