Kentucky River - Cummins Ferry Area

Good paddles up or downstream for about as long as you would want. Once you get away from the Cummins Ferry area, very sceninc and remote.

Upstream a little is Cummins Falls. Mundy's Landing and the Chinn's Homestead (big house) are about 4 miles out for an 8 mile trip.

Downstream, there is a usually dry creekbed and rock bar about 5.25 miles out, for a 10.5 mile trip.

There is a ramp on the other side in Mercer Co, a little upstream at Cummins Ferry Resort/ Marina. That ramp is limited to customers at the Resort/Marina only - not open to just boaters.

Best level is less than 14ft. on the Lock 6 Upper Pool gauge.
