Paddle For A Purpose - Paddle the Lower Kentucky River - Paddle all 4 Locks!

This Event is Lock an Dam #3! Private access near Monterey, Kentucky. After event bonfire!

Join us from Sunday, October 1, 2023 through Sunday, October 22, 2023, as we paddle a portion of the length of the Lower Kentucky River. Each Sunday we will paddle a different section of the river, from Frankfort to Carrollton. Each section of the river will include a 4-6 mile paddle on the Kentucky River and riverside discussions with local experts about topics ranging from history to aquatic life. Each event will also have us as paddlers pass through one of the four lower Kentucky River locks.
All proceeds from this event go directly to our friends at Woods and Waters Land Trust.
Cost of event is $75.00 per person per event, rental included, $50.00 per person BYOB, or $250.00 for all 4 events rental included, $175.00 BYOB. . Canoe Kentucky is providing the kayaks, canoes, shuttles, etc.
