Hello jamming friends!
Come join our outdoor jam (weather permitting)
This is an open jam, for all levels. Bring a song or two to share, or just come to play along.
We’re going to be making some modest changes to how we run this jam depending on how many people are there. With upwards of 25 to 30 people attending weekly, it takes too long to go around the circle if we give every person a solo for every song. We want to give more opportunities for people to lead songs. Depending on the circumstances, we will either split the breaks or we will simply limit the number of breaks per song to 4 to 6 people depending on how many verses there are. Please support our attempts to be inclusive of all musicians while maximizing our fun. Thanks!

Fellow jammer and sailor Steve Schwartz has generously offered to host us at the City Island Yacht Club ballroom.
The address is 63 Pilot Street, City Island, Bronx, NY 10464. It’s right on the water and we’ll see a beautiful sunset as we play (weather permitting we could even play outside).
Transportation info: This venue is most easily accessible by car (there is ample free parking) but these links can help you navigate by public transport from the city. Public transportation to City Island Yacht Club or Express Bus.
Slow/Med Jam. All are always welcome. BYOB or snacks.
Join us for an indoor jam at An Beal Bocht Cafe in Riverdale. We'll be playing in the back room. All levels are welcome.
An Beal Bocht is an Irish restaurant and bar and has lovely breakfasts, lunches, and beverages, and they do appreciate if you buy something from them since they're giving us exclusive use of their back room. http://www.anbealbochtcafe.com/
