BLUES RULES IN SAN DIEGO

I have been organizing blues music events around San Diego since 2009. We are a very active group of BLUES LOVERS AND BLUES MUSICIANS by planning many activities at live blues venues , festivals, house concerts around town and sometimes out of town. When you join my group I do appreciate some help with paying for meetup but payment is completely voluntary or only needed when paying to go to a house concert or event where we need to pay musicians. I look for new and little known blues bands as well as the GREAT WELL KNOWN blues players of all styles of blues. I encourage all members to join in and post events you are interested in as long as it has good live music . While I have been doing this, I have seen many of the venues that promoted the blues die off for one reason or another. I also focus on supporting the SD Blues Community by posting a variety of venues when they do start booking live blues. Our goal is to keep the Blues Alive and Well in San Diego. We have hosted a couple of Blues House Concerts with great success and hope to do more . The local blues musicians benefit from all the money donated to the house concert. We need more homes donated who can provide the venue for this future goal.
