Open Practice Social — Salsa & Bachata

This is our open practice for Baltimore's salsa and bachata dancers — dedicated studio time to work on whatever you've been learning, drill your patterns, and social dance with the community. No class format, no partner needed, all levels welcome.

The space is made for real practice: great flooring that's easy on your body, full wall mirrors, and it's air conditioned and comfortable. Bonus for the city crowd — free 3-hour garage parking, so you can just show up and dance. Instructors are often on hand if you want help with something specific.

It's a relaxed, welcoming room whether you're brand new or have been dancing for years. Come meet other dancers, get your reps in, and have fun.

THE RUNDOWN
5:00 PM — Doors open (full kitchen and bar, come early and eat)
7:00 PM — Beginner Bachata lesson
8:00 PM — Advanced Beginner Bachata lesson
9:00–11:00 PM — Social dancing with
DJ Phoenix: salsa, bachata, merengue and more

**No partner needed. No experience needed.** We rotate during class so everyone dances.

Salsa with Pride happens the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month at The Pride Center of Maryland.

No partner needed. No experience needed. Just show up.

WHAT TO EXPECT

7:00 to 7:45 pm: Beginner salsa lesson
7:45 to 8:30 pm: Beginner bachata lesson
8:30 to 9:30 pm: Open social dancing to practice what you just learned

Light refreshments provided.

WHO IT'S FOR

This is an explicitly LGBTQIA+ affirming space. Allies are warmly welcome. We teach lead and follow roles, not gendered roles, so dance with whoever you'd like.
