Autumn Game Day! Spooky!

Board Game Society will feature its Autumn Game Day on Sat. October 18 from 12-5pm at Boardwalk!

Each Game Day has a theme. This time I'm keeping the theme simple: "spooky" games. Play a spooky game and you'll get 3 bonus tickets for our dreadful drawing (see below). By spooky, I mean having a theme generally associated with the horror genre. Ghosts? In! Werewolves? In! Fear of being crushed by your board game collection tipping over? Not in! (Bring some games for us to play though...)

(Do note that it's an all-ages event, so no games that would be "next-level" horror. If you have any questions about a game, let me know and I can check it out online.)

Our Game Days are open to the public and feature all the all-ages "open" (as opposed to "scheduled") board gaming you can stand--bring your own games, buy games or choose games from Boardwalk's extensive library. Due to space considerations, don't block playing areas with games--consider leaving some in the car.

As an all-ages event, please follow Boardwalk's "watch your language" policy while parents keep their children well-behaved.

We will hold a drawing for 3+ new games (or game bundles!) at the end of the event (about 4:30pm). You get one (digital) ticket for attending, one for being new to a Game Day or bringing someone new, and three for writing about what excited you about a game you played.

You must be present and wearing your BGS-provided name tag to be eligible. Winners will select games from the prize pool in the order their names are drawn--maximum one prize per person or household.
