About us
BodhiCitta Sangha is a Buddhist meditation community rooted in mindfulness, compassion, wisdom, and sincere practice.
We gather to cultivate peace of mind, emotional clarity, ethical living, and a deeper understanding of the Buddha-Dharma.
Our community welcomes beginners, experienced meditators, and anyone sincerely interested in reducing suffering and living with more presence, kindness, and awareness.
Through guided meditation, Dharma talks, group practice, retreats, and community outreach, we support one another in bringing the practice into daily life.
Our name, BodhiCitta, refers to the awakened heart: the sincere intention to awaken for the benefit of all beings.
Our practice is not only personal. It is also relational, communal, and compassionate.
We come together to develop mindfulness, deepen insight, serve others, and walk the path of awakening with humility and care.
All are welcome. No prior meditation experience is required.

Meditation for Peace: A Community Gathering for Compassion and Loving-Kindness
Location not specified yetMeditation for Peace is a free community gathering dedicated to peace, compassion, loving-kindness, safety, joy, and support for all beings.
Although this gathering will be led by Venerable SooSeong, a Zen Buddhist monk and meditation teacher, the event itself is secular, non-denominational, and fully inclusive.
People of all faiths, backgrounds, ethnicities, ages, and walks of life are warmly welcome.
The intention is simple: to gather in shared silence, meditation, reflection, and goodwill. Together, we will generate collective energy and dedicate it to peace in our world, joy in our communities, safety for all beings, compassion for others, and support for those in need.
This event is hosted by Bodhicitta Sangha, a local Buddhist meditation nonprofit rooted in Dharma practice, mindfulness, community, and compassionate service.
Participants are invited to bring their own yoga mat, meditation cushion, or blanket. Chairs will be available for those who prefer or need seated support.
Tentative program:

- Loving-kindness meditation
- Brief closing reflection and dedication of merit
