Hone your drawing skills with our diverse models! Ages 16+

Practice your drawing skills in our popular figure drawing sessions! We have a wide range of models who pose for us to keep the subject fresh, diverse and inclusive. Models will be clothed in whatever way they choose. Over the years, we've included people from all walks of life, from college students and grandparents to burlesque dancers and pin-up models in full costume!

Each session will consist of a few quick gesture poses to get you warmed up, followed by several 15-30 minute poses. A short, 5-10 minute break during the session will be used for a gallery walk to view each other's work and share feedback and support. All levels welcome, no formal training is provided in this session.

Feeling rusty? We've seen notable drawing improvement in just a few weeks... Practice makes progress!

If you prefer longer poses, see our Figure Painting sessions every other Saturday of the month. If you'd like more training, try our Beginner Figure Drawing sessions, every other Sunday!

Please bring the following with you:
- Your paper of choice
- Your preferred medium(s) (charcoal, pastels, pens, markers, watercolors, etc.)
- Any additional supplies you'll need (brushes, erasers, blending tools, etc.)
(Please do not bring glass jars/cups.)

Optional to bring:
- Your own music and ear buds
- Layered clothing
- Water bottle

We will provide:
- Floor easels or table with/without easel
- Drawing boards
- Binder clips for attaching your sketch pad/paper to drawing boards
- A small table/shelf for supplies
- Stools/chairs
- Model(s) with interesting fabrics/props/furniture
- Music (usually something relaxing, yet lively and modern)
- Some basic drawing supplies will be available

Make art, de-stress, and set intentions over lunch in this monthly reset ritual! Age 18+

Ongoing: Every Wednesday, 12:00pm - 1:00pm, until May 27. $55.

This monthly creative ritual is designed for adults to reflect on their recent experiences and consciously architect the next “mini chapter” (month) of their lives. Acting as a somatic and soulful reset, this session is part creative lab, part stress-relief sanctuary, and part personal growth workshop. Participants can expect to bring home a unique, aesthetic work to act as an intention anchor and reminder in their home. Each session is structured around three pillars:

- Somatic Unloading: Evidence-based stress relief tools (movement, breath, or tactile grounding) discharge the accumulated tension of the month.
- Introspective Pivot: Through guided "micro-journaling" and reflective prompts, you'll identify what you are leaving behind and what you want to shift in the next “mini-chapter" of your life.
- Creative Manifestation: The session culminates in a multimedia deep dive. Using a different medium each month–from intuitive clay to expressive collage--you'll create a physical anchor for your intentions.

This is not a "how-to" class; it’s an experience where the personal act of making serves as a bridge to inner clarity, connection, and intention. Come solo or bring your friends to release and renew!

About your instructor:
Kylie Castellaw is a multimedia artist (BFA), cognitive specialist (MS Cognitive Psychology), and author dedicated to the intersection of creativity and wellbeing. As a parent of young children (and a struggler of balance-finding), Kylie’s work is deeply personal. She believes that creativity and somatic intelligence are fundamental life skills for the 21st century. Her goal is to help the next generation (and their parents) build resilient, inspired lives.

A homeschool-friendly mix of dance, drumming, and art to help kids move, create, and learn! Age 5-12

This is a high-energy, multidisciplinary circuit designed to bridge the gap between physical movement and creative expression. This class is specifically built as a drop-in friendly environment where students can jump in any week to have fun, get some energy out, and explore emotional links between rhythm, art, and the body. Each session rotates through three stations: somatic movement (Dance/PE), percussive rhythm (Music), and visual output (Art).

By focusing on evidence-based physical and creative practices, an incredible side effect is that students learn how to "tune" their nervous systems in real life to regulate themselves no matter what life throws at them.

This class is an excellent option for homeschool students, as the curriculum intentionally integrates Physical Education, Health/Wellness, Visual Arts, and Music Appreciation into a single, cohesive 90-minute block.

Example class themes:
- The Steady State – Exploring 60 BPM (resting heart rate) through slow movement and charcoal shading.
- The Crescendo – Building energy through African-inspired drumming and high-contrast vibrant painting.
- Patterns & Poly-rhythms – Complex coordination drills and geometric pattern making.
- The Cool Down – Stretching, melodic chimes, and watercolor "soundscapes."
