Bring your child to the Cat for enrichment in our after-school art program! Our experienced and professional art educators will facilitate a wide variety of engaging and customized projects in various mediums each week, learning about artists, art history, diverse cultures, and other subjects along the way. Students are encouraged to attend weekly, however, students are welcome to attend occasionally, as they are able. Mediums/skills may include any of the following on any given day: drawing, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, collage, mosaics, pottery (in our Cat Clay studio), fiber arts, oil pastels, printmaking, cyanotypes, sculpture, mixed-media, etc.
For most class days, your child will leave with a project or two. However, some days we will focus more on experiential art and learning about art in ways that will not produce a final artwork. Some projects may also be group projects that the students will work on as a team. Everyday will be something new!
Students should be dropped off and picked up within 15 minutes of class start and end.
