Learn how to create captivating, digital art with TouchDesigner. Beginner-friendly! Ages 15+

This beginner-friendly class will introduce students to digital generative art creation, using the program TouchDesigner! Generative Art can be understood as “Art that is created, in part or in whole, through the use of an autonomous system or computer code, and that often relies on elements of randomness or chance.” (MOMA)

We’ll treat the computer as our creative partner, using visual tools to design dynamic and captivating visuals. No prior coding experience is required. In the past, coding skills were essential for delving into this art form, but recent software advancements have made it more accessible and visual.

Please bring a laptop with you! We'll be using some specific software and computer settings, and can work with you to figure out what works with your laptop:
