Nature Drawing at Bogus Basin, Mountain Recreation & Ski Resort

Sketch native plants at Bogus Basin in this guided, all-levels nature drawing workshop! Age 12+

1-day workshop: Sat, August 2, 9:00am - 12:00pm. $10.

Spend the morning exploring and drawing the natural environment at Bogus Basin using graphite, colored pencil, or pen and ink. This workshop will place special focus on observing and sketching the native plants found in the area.

This class is great for artists new to nature drawing, or those looking to strengthen their foundational skills. All experience and skill levels are welcome!

Please bring the following with you:
- Drawing Paper Pad
- Your choice of graphite/charcoal pencils, color pencils, and/or watercolors
- Kneaded Eraser
- Camp chair

Optional to bring:
- Sunscreen/hat
- Water in a spill-proof container
- Snacks

About your instructor:
Lisa Hlavinka is an artist based in Eagle, Idaho, specializing in nature and animal art. Her passion for creating meaningful art has led her to share her knowledge of the artistic process with others. Lisa offers original artwork, art prints, custom artwork, and animal portraits. Her goal is to create art pieces that are cherished and collected. With extensive experience in creating art, Lisa stands out for her specialization in nature and animal art, as well as her commitment to fostering a love for art in others.
