Beginner Acrylic Painting

Increase your skills with our drop-in painting sessions! Ages 14+

Ongoing, individual sessions: Biweekly Wednesdays, 6:30pm - 8:30pm. $40.

This biweekly class is great for beginning acrylic painters to expand their foundational skills while painting along with the instructor. Each week we will focus on a different topic such as depicting the light and form of an object, practicing gradients and color blending, and layering simple shapes.

Come as often as you like and as your schedule allows... Practice makes progress!

Minimal experience with acrylics is helpful, but not required.

All supplies will be provided. Optional items to bring:
- Layered clothing
- Bottled water

About your instructor:
Jessica is classically trained artist, with BFA in concept design and visual development from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has spent over 10 years working as freelance illustrator and fine artist. She now works in multiple mediums including watercolor, acrylics, and water soluble oils, and teaches lots of our drawing and painting classes at "the Cat!"
