Boise Contra Dance

We usually dance the 2nd Saturdays, September through May, at the Broadway Dance Center, 893 E. Boise Ave. in Boise. New dancer orientation at 7:30, dance begins at 8:00. Sometimes it's a different Saturday.
The dance is alcohol-free. No tobacco use or vaping allowed. Be respectful and considerate of the other dancers. Basically, be nice and have a fun time.

Cost: $10, children 12 and under, $5

Come join us for the last dance of the season. Dancing is open to ages 10 and above. There is no need to bring a partner but if you have one, drag him/her along. They’ll thank you later.

All dances are taught and moves are called out as reminders during the dance. Music is by our fabulous house band The Acrasians.

Bring a water bottle. If you can count to eight and follow instructions you can do this!

As in the days before the recent plague, it is possible to catch a cold from others at a dance. Be responsible to others as well. If you are sick, stay home.
