Boise Contra Dance in Nampa

When: June 14, 2025,
8:00 - 10:00 pm.
(New-dancer orientation 7:30-8:00 pm).

Where: Nampa Valley Grange Hall, 203 5th Ave South, Nampa.

Cost: $10 per adult,
$5 per child/teen (10-18 y.o.)

Live Band: Live music by the Acrasians, with an assortment of Live Callers.

Contra dance is a North American social dance similar to square dance. Movements are called out during the dance, and follow a predictable, consistent sequence. Dance movements are taught prior to each dance.
Come alone or bring as many dancers as possible because Contras get more fun with more people.
Wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle. The dance is alcohol, tobacco, and vape-free.

We will be resume our regular 2nd Saturday September through May 2025/2026 season at the Broadway Dance Studio in Boise. Details to follow.
