**Important note: we're going to be meeting at a different venue rather than JUMP for our annual potluck. Read on for all the details!**

Hola a todos/salut tout le monde/hallo allerseits/مرحبا جميعا,

Given that the end of 2025 is fast approaching, it's time for our end-of-the-year language potluck!

How will the event work?

This event will be a little less formal than our usual weekly language exchange events.

Instead of breaking up into specific language tables like we normally do, everyone will have a nametag with the language(s) they can or would like to speak. (Even if it's just English!)

From there, you're free to mingle and chat with anyone who speaks a language that matches yours.

That means that, for this particular event, ALL languages are welcome. Friends, partners, and family (no matter what they speak) are welcome, too!

What should I bring?

The event will be potluck style.

I'll supply the paper plates/cups/cutlery and some other fun things. And you're welcome to bring any dishes/snacks/treats/drinks you'd like to share.

Where exactly will we be meeting?

We'll be meeting at the clubhouse of the Dorchester Cambridge apartment complex about 1.5 miles from our usual venue, JUMP.

The address is 300 S Straughan Ave. The clubhouse is on the Dorchester side of the complex, which will be on your right if you're facing Warm Springs Avenue. Depending on where you park, you'll likely also see the words "Dorchester" written on the side of the building.

Parking is usually easy to find on either Straughan Ave or Holly Street. The clubhouse is the building in the middle of the apartment complex right by the pool.

In the "Photos" section, I've included a map that shows exactly where the clubhouse is (pink), where you can find parking (yellow), and the best ways for you to walk to the clubhouse from the street (blue).

That said, it's not that big of an apartment complex, and I think the lights of the clubhouse should make it easy to find us :-)

~~~
Let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, looking forward to seeing everyone (especially as I've been away from Boise so often this fall & winter)!
