Meet, greet and discuss (in person)

Please join us for the meet and greet of this book club. During this event, in addition to getting to know each other we will discuss the questions:
The discussion format will be free flowing and civilized.

1. How do writers, editors, and ghostwriters work together in creating books, and what impact does each role have on the final quality? Do you think books are better when they're truly collaborative efforts, or can too much editorial input hurt an author's original vision?
2. Do banned books become more culturally important because they were banned, or were they banned because they were already powerful? Should we be more suspicious of books that have never been challenged, or does controversy sometimes overshadow actual literary merit?
3. How has book discovery changed for you over the years? Do you miss browsing physical bookstores, or do you love having personalized recommendations? What's the weirdest way you've ever discovered a book you ended up loving?
