Hi everyone!
I’m so excited for our event this Sunday!
Due to our group size (we have over 30 people!), I’ve decided to change our plan slightly to make sure everyone is comfortable and we have plenty of space to chat. Instead of meeting inside a cafe, we will be having a picnic at Mission Dolores Park!
New Meeting Point: We will meet in front of the "Mexico Liberty Bell" (located near the corner of 19th St and Dolores St) inside Mission Dolores Park.
Schedule:
- Before the meetup: Please feel free to stop by your favorite local bookstores (like Dog Eared Books) or grab a coffee/chocolate (like from Dandelion Chocolate) on your way.
- 3:00 PM (Event Start): Gather at the Mexico Liberty Bell.
Picnic, book sharing, and hanging out on the grass! - 4:00 PM: Wrap Up!!
What to bring:
- A picnic blanket (if you have one).
- Your favorite book or a recent find.
- Your choice of beverage/snacks.
I think the park will be much more relaxing and will allow us all to talk to each other more easily. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
