Welcome to Bookish KL
A Book Club for puans in the Peninsula
Are you a bookworm looking for new friends, be introduced to new people and (possibly more importantly) new books? Join me!
This club is to focus on a roster of recommendations from the club members themselves.
✨ Note: this group is for women identifying only. I’m aiming to create a safe space sisterhood 💃
Schedule:
- A survey of shortlisted books will be sent to your email in November and May so put in your votes for your preferred book!
- A 6-month reading list will be released twice a year on both this group and IG @bookishting
- Meetups will happen the first Saturday of every month (unless otherwise stated, which I will promptly inform you)
Book rules:
- Book must be < 320 pages
- Members can consume it in whatever medium they prefer (physical, e-book, audiobook)
- Members are individually responsible for getting their copy of the book. Buy new, used, borrow, exchange etc (I do ensure that the books are available in multiple mediums on Amazon and Audible)
Meetup rules:
- One person at a time, please refrain from talking over a speaker
- In general, practicing respectful language and behaviour so we can all get to know each other ❤️
