Hi all. Spring is upon us and the weather is feeling great. Enjoy it before we get to the 90's.
Trust was supposed to be next, but after The Mandibles, which was horrible, I think we can agree that another book based on economic ideas is a no-go. Sorry for anyone that read that in advance. We can chat about it at the catch-all-meeting in the Fall. I didn't realize the financial connection when I arranged the schedule. Trust was also a Pulitzer prize winner. I'm not sure we are ready for another one of those beasts after wrapping up Demon Copperhead. Pulitzer schmulitzer!
I feel the need, the need for speed. And Bullet Train might be the escape we need after grinding away through Demon. It's fast, deadly and loads of fun. Plus if you like this one, there is a prequel of sorts and a sequel. This a Japanese take on the old murder on the train trope, complete with a a bunch of bad guys on a high-speed train headed to Tokyo. Should be fun!
Park meeting remember: Please don't forget to bring a chair or blanket. Feel free to bring a beverage as well. Adult beverages are encouraged!
Well, back to reading Demon. Keep going, you can do it!
