Reading or Conversation practice in English or Japanese for Beginners

JP/EN Beginners* BookClub

Are you learning to speak and/or read either English or Japanese?

Would you like to practice speaking and/or reading in either English or Japanese in front of other beginners, and having a conversation with them?

Then join us for this online session!

Either prepare short questions in the language you would like to practice, for example what you would like to know about others, or share something else that is interesting about yourself, your city or your culture, or share something that you have have read or watched.

The meetup will have some very young participants:
so topics (books/movies/videos) must be rated "G"
(For general audience. No discussion of violence, s*x, or use of inappropriate language.)

This is an international online meetup. All are welcome.

Participants: Beginners who are learning to read/speak Japanese or English.
SignUp: Participants must signup here before attending.
Requirement: Turn on your video feed while participating, with your face clearly visible.
Restrictions: Discussion topics must be suitable for a general audience of all ages as some participants will be kids.

*There will be at least one person fluent in English, and at least one person fluent in Japanese at this session, so if you are not fluent in one of those languages and would like to practice one of them then you will be able to do so. Please remember to keep the topics to a rating "G".

If you are already fluent in English, we invite you to join our regular bookclub which is held at 8pm (Singapore time) once a month.
