This is Colleen Hoover's most successful romance book! Let's discuss this international best seller (4.21 on Goodreads) & its 2024 movie - It ends with us.

What to bring: $3 to cover the meetup fee and an open mind. Since we're using the café’s function room, please order some food or drinks. Let's make it into a brunch & book party!

What we’ll discuss:
We’ll be guided by a list of questions, then the floor is open for discussion. We can talk about anything and everything – the plot, the characters, the writing style, the movie, the cast, etc. If you'd like, you can also bring your favourite paragraph/plot to share with the table. Here, you can let your imagination run wild – do you agree with the way that the author/screenwriter organises the plots? How would you tweak it to make the book/movie even better?

Book/movie synopsis:
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up — she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt.
