In this practical and interactive workshop, Edwin Schmierer will introduce three essential areas of startup sales: Pitching. Qualification. Negotiation.

The session is designed for founders and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to communicate their offer more clearly, recognise which leads are worth pursuing and approach customer and pricing conversations with greater confidence.

What You Will Learn:
By the end of the workshop, you will be better prepared to:

• Present your product or service clearly and convincingly
• Identify serious customer opportunities at an earlier stage
• Ask more effective questions during sales conversations
• Navigate pricing and negotiation discussions with confidence

What to Expect:
This will not be a traditional lecture or slide-heavy presentation.
At the beginning of the session, participants will be invited to share their main sales challenges and areas of interest. The workshop will then be adapted to the needs of the group, with more time dedicated to the topics that matter most to participants.

You can expect a combination of simple, practical sales principles and hands-on exercises, which may include:

• Practising your pitch and receiving peer feedback
• Role-playing customer conversations
• Exploring qualification questions
• Simulating pricing and negotiation scenarios

The aim is to give you tools and approaches that you can apply directly in your next customer conversation.

About the Speaker: Edwin Schmierer is a Leipzig-based sales consultant who works with startups, agencies and small teams. He supports them in developing clearer sales structures, improving customer conversations, strengthening negotiation skills and using CRM systems more effectively. His focus is practical sales for people who are strong at building products and services but want more clarity, confidence and structure when it comes to winning customers.
