About us
Soulmated is an online discussion community for people who want honest, structured conversations about dating, relationships, communication, and connection.
If you are single, dating again after a long relationship, or simply trying to understand your patterns and make better choices, you will find your people here.
This is not therapy. It is not a dating service. It is a moderated space where thoughtful adults, mostly singles 35 and older, show up on camera, share real perspectives, and leave with something useful.
What we talk about:
- Dating dynamics, compatibility, and what you actually want
- Communication, boundaries, and emotional patterns
- Modern dating: apps, ghosting, timing, and starting over
- Relationships after divorce, loss, or a long situationship
What makes this different:
- Every session is moderated and structured, not a free-for-all
- Camera-on culture. Real faces, real conversation.
- No performative sharing, no preaching, no pressure
- Built from a card game designed to spark the conversations most people avoid
Most members are 35 to 65, based across North America, and done with surface-level connection.
RSVP to an upcoming event. Come with a perspective or a question. That is all it takes.

Know Your Non-Negotiables
There's a version of a non-negotiable that's actually just a preference. And there's a version of a growth edge that's actually a dealbreaker someone isn't ready to define yet. Most people have the two confused, and it costs them clarity at exactly the wrong moments.
This conversation closes out O: Outcome Vision in the SOUL Framework series. Over the past two months we've explored what you're looking for and whether your life is set up for it. Now we're drawing the line: what are you unwilling to compromise on, and what are you mistaking for a dealbreaker because growth feels uncomfortable?
💬 What we'll explore:
- How to tell if a non-negotiable is values-based or fear-based
- How to audit the list you've been carrying without starting from scratch
- Where flexibility ends and self-abandonment begins
🧠 You'll leave with:
- A cleaner distinction between your actual non-negotiables and your preferences
- A way to test whether a line is worth holding
- More confidence in your own judgment when things feel ambiguous
What to expect: This is a peer-led group discussion; there's no formal presentation or coaching. You'll have the chance to reflect, share, and hear from others on similar journeys. Whether you speak up or listen in, you're welcome here.
🎥 P.S. For a more engaging experience, we encourage you to turn on your camera during the session! Your privacy is important to us, and all discussions will be handled with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

Dating Life Bingo: Laugh, Reflect, Connect
·OnlineOnline🍷 Bring your drink of choice.
Dating has given all of us moments we look back on and laugh. The second-guessing, the overthinking, the "why did I say that." This Sunday, we're turning those moments into a game.
What this is
Bingo & Laugh: Dating Life Edition is a virtual game night where the bingo card is built from real, relatable dating experiences. The host reads the squares, you mark your card, and first person to get bingo calls it in the chat. Winner takes home a Soulmated deck to bring to their next dinner or date night.
No agenda. No deep dive. Just a room full of people recognizing themselves in the same card. What to expect
💬 A relaxed, camera-on session with a 25-spot cap. The game moves fast, the conversation is light, and the laughs are real. This is the first in a five-part Bingo & Laugh series, each one built around a different corner of dating and relationship life.
🎥 Camera on is required to play. If you join with your camera off, you may be removed to make room for someone on the waitlist.

Say It Without Losing Them - Part 1
·OnlineOnlineSay It Without Losing Them -- Part 1 of 3
This three-part series tackles one of the most common communication failures in dating and relationships: not the words you use, but everything that happens before, during, and after you try to say something that matters.
Part 1 goes internal first: understanding what you're really feeling and what you actually need before you try to put it into words.
Most communication problems don't start with the other person. They start with not being clear on what you're actually trying to say, or why. You think you're upset about one thing, and it turns out you're upset about something underneath it. You say what you think sounds reasonable, and it lands wrong because it wasn't quite honest.
💬 What we'll explore:
- Why people say the wrong thing even when they mean well
- The gap between what you feel and what you're able to articulate
- How to identify what you actually need before you try to communicate it
- The role of self-awareness in reducing miscommunication
- Common internal blockers: fear of reaction, conflict avoidance, people-pleasing
- What it looks like to get clear with yourself first
🧠 You'll leave with:
- A framework for identifying what you actually mean before speaking
- Awareness of your most common internal communication blockers
- Practical language for naming what you're feeling more precisely
- A foundation for Parts 2 and 3 of this series
Who it's for: Anyone who has ever said something and immediately thought "that's not what I meant." Anyone who goes quiet when they should speak up, or speaks up in a way that creates more confusion. You don't need to be in a relationship to participate.
🎥 House rules: Camera on is required for this session. This is a high-participation format, your presence matters. If you're not able to be on camera, this session may not be the right fit right now.

Say It Without Losing Them - Part 2
·OnlineOnlineSay It Without Losing Them -- Part 2 of 3
This three-part series tackles communication in dating and relationships from three angles: the internal work, the delivery, and the cost of getting it wrong. Part 1 covered knowing what you mean.Part 2 is about the delivery side: tone, timing, and word choice in real conversations.
You can know exactly what you want to say and still say it in a way that puts the other person on defense, shuts the conversation down, or makes a small issue into a bigger one. Delivery is a skill. Most people haven't been taught it, they've just absorbed whatever patterns were modeled for them.
💬 What we'll explore:
- Why tone often communicates more than the words themselves
- How timing affects whether a conversation is received or deflected
- Word choices that open conversations vs. word choices that close them
- The difference between being direct and being blunt
- How stress, emotion, and past experiences hijack delivery in real time
- What it looks like to adjust your approach without losing your honesty
🧠 You'll leave with:
- A practical understanding of how tone and timing shape outcomes
- Specific language patterns that reduce defensiveness in hard conversations
- A way to check your delivery before and during conversations
- A clearer bridge between what you mean (Part 1) and what it costs when it goes wrong (Part 3)
Who it's for: Anyone who has been told they "come across" a certain way they didn't intend. Anyone whose honest conversations seem to turn into arguments. You don't need to be in a relationship to participate.
🎥 House rules: Camera on is required for this session. This is a high-participation format, your presence matters. If you're not able to be on camera, this session may not be the right fit right now.
