The James P. Kelleher Rose Garden is supposed to be in full bloom now so let's go see it! It's a small rose garden in the Back Bay Fens park that's free and open to the public.
We will meet at noon at Honeygrow (1282 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02215) to get lunch together. We can chat, get to know each other better and enjoy each other's company, while catching up with old friends and making new friends 😊.
Then around 1:15pm we'll walk over to the rose garden (8 minute walk; 73 Park Dr, Boston, MA 02215). Afterwards we can continue walking around the park to see the memorials and the community gardens.
We can also get icecream at nearby Matcha Cafe Maiko (4 minute walk from the rose garden; 115 Jersey St, Boston, MA 02215), though this is optional.
In case of drizzle or light rain, we will still go see the rose garden as planned. In case of heavy rain, we'll do lunch with optional icecream afterwards.
