Hello and welcome!
This meetup is a free online language exchange for people learning Japanese and English.
There is no fee to join. Simply bring your interest in language learning and conversation.
This is not a class or a lesson. It is a casual, community-based language exchange where participants can practice speaking, meet new people, and enjoy meaningful conversations in both English and Japanese.
All language levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced speakers.

About This Meetup
* Hosted online via Zoom.
* We normally keep everyone in the same Zoom room rather than splitting into breakout rooms, as we enjoy having one shared conversation.
* English and Japanese are used naturally throughout the conversation.
*Participants are welcome to share how they study English or Japanese, exchange learning tips, and discuss resources that have helped them.
* Open and friendly discussions among participants.
* We encourage everyone to actively participate and practice speaking.

If the group becomes quite large (around 10 or more participants), we may explore other arrangements depending on the situation.

For First-Time Participants
If this is your first time joining, please give a brief introduction at the beginning:
* Your name (or nickname)
* The country where you live
* Why you are learning English or Japanese
A short introduction is perfectly fine.

This meetup is more than just language practice.
