Flume Gorge & Basin Cascade Hike

Details

Our Flume Gorge/Basin Cascade hike was a lot of fun last year, so I would like to schedule an encore for '24 (it even rhymes, how fitting!)

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To join our group, sign up here: https://p.ridj-it.com/app/trip-detail?id=110650. You must have a Ridj-it account with a Ridj-it profile in order to join, which requires signing up at the above link.

2. To get into Flume Gorge, it costs $18, and you must immediately book a spot for Sunday, May 19th, for the 1pm slot:

Again, please note that you must sign up on Ridj-it in order to join our group, and you must book a slot via the official State Park website in order to enter Flume Gorge.

TRIP DETAILS CONTINUED:
For this hike, we will meet at Wellington Parking Lot and drive up two hours to the Flume Gorge Visitor Center. We will then complete the two-mile loop to see the gorge in all its pristine glory.

We will then make a short drive up to the Basin Cascade Trailhead (parking lot accessible via I-93N), and then start to walk. Depending on timing/preferences, we can either do a 2-hr hike to see some of the waterfalls, or a 3-hr hike to Lonesome Lake and back (with the same waterfalls along the way).

Then, we pat our backs and go get some dinner! Good old Ridj-It style.
