Trek Through Quebec + Montreal Jazz Festin' - La Grande Aventure Québécoise

Salut mes amis! I'm happy to announce a two-week road trip across Quebec coming up in late June and early July. The first week will be devoted to traveling through Eastern Quebec, while the second week will involve setting up shop in Montreal and doing a variety of activities around town and the area each day, then catching the Jazz Festival shows in the evening!

I understand it may be hard to devote the full two weeks to the trip. Anyone who wants to join for whatever chunk of the trip they desire is welcome to do so. For instance, you could drive/fly up and meet me in Montreal at some point during the week of June 25, and we could do activities and see shows together. I have space in my car for up to four passengers at any point in the voyage.

WEEK ONE: June 18-24

• Drive through Maine. Camp in Moosehead Lake.
• Explore sites in and near Quebec City.
• Head north of Quebec City for outdoor adventures, including hiking in the fjord and biking around Lac Saint Jean.
• Come back south, swing by QC, then head out to Parc de la Mauricie.
• Camp, canoe and hike there, then head down to Montreal.

WEEK TWO: June 25 - July 2

• Stay in/near Montreal. Camping and hostel options are available.
• Do lots of sightseeing in town throughout the week.
• Do some day trips-- Mt. St. Hilaire, Iles de Boucherville, etc. are options. Possible side trip to Ottawa as well.
• Jazz shows every night! Please consult the festival website to see which ones interest you.
• Fête du Canada is on July 1st. Fireworks in Old Town!
• Return to Boston TBD, ideally in time for July 4th fireworks. I'm a firework guy, you can tell hehe.
