What we’re about
Magicians, learning magicians, or people in allied arts (puppetry, balloon sculpting, juggling, etc.) are welcome to join us. We are a group of amateurs, professionals, and hobbyists who perform for each other, teach each other, have interesting guest lecturers, chat about our common interests, put on magic shows, etc. We meet usually virtually on the 2nd Wednesday of the month on Zoom. (except sometimes not July and August) at 7:30 PM. We belong to the National Society of American Magicians founded in 1902, the oldest magical society in the world. For over a century it has promoted the ideals shared by Kellar, Houdini, Thurston and more than 50,000 others worldwide who have held membership in the society. The official name of our local group is Herman Hanson Boston Assembly 9. Contact bob@bobfilene.com which is bob at bobfilene dot com for more information.
